Efforts are being made by developing countries across the globe to engage in sustainable development and transformation in the context of considerable. 'Third World Debt' This working paper series falls into a restorative justice and empowerment framework in which this book is located. The identified obstacles to development are, on the one hand, the lack of acknowledgement of knowledge assets of the poor and, on the other, the lack of access to knowledge by the poor. The series seeks to produce excellent knowledge in the spirit of learning whilst engaging with urgency and commitment to the development challenges facing us as researchers in South Africa today.
