Richard Mason

“Each South African has to look at the people around them and think: what can I do? If individuals across the country start to ask themselves that question, start to try to imagine what life is like for other people, then South Africa is going to really fulfil its potential.”

Richard Mason is a best-selling author who funded the start of the Kay Mason Foundation from the proceeds of his first novel, in memory of his sister, Kay, who died aged 21. The Foundation identifies and supports our future leaders through the provision of education bursaries for motivated children who lack funds to access excellent education.
