The Cape Town International Book Fair provided a great platform for Inyathelo to profile its work and its resources in a well-established publisher’s forum. Along with a range of other not-for-profit organisations and publishers, Inyathelo used the book fair to promote its publications in the areas of advancement, non-profit sustainability, governance and philanthropy.
Committed to energising civil society by inspiring a passion for philanthropy, Inyathelo publishes quality resources in various formats including print, video and interactive multi-media. Being first time exhibitors at the book fair afforded Inyathelo an opportunity to introduce its name and products to a vast new audience of individuals.
“There was much interest expressed in what we do as an organisation, and our publications are part of a market that not everyone is aware of,” said Cassandra Smith, Inyathelo’s Accounts and Finance Coordinator.
Inyathelo works to strengthen organisations and institutions by enhancing their capacity to attract donor investment, thus its published resources are directed towards advancement practitioners and stakeholders in philanthropy.
Booklets such as 100 Thoughts on Philanthropy and 100 and more Thoughts on Fundraising in the Private Market provide a delightful pocket-sized read for any philanthropists or grantseekers seeking inspiration and motivation.
