Inyathelo resource centre

The Inyathelo Resource Centre is the base from which we deliver on the core work of the Institute, namely training and capacity development related to institutional and non-profit organisational Advancement, leadership development, youth participation, effective philanthropy, good governance and the South African legislative framework in which our work takes place.

Apart from developing resources and publications based on our expertise and experience, Inyathelo holds a well-stocked library that provides a research space and opportunities for those interested in Advancement, development, fundraising and philanthropy.

Inyathelo’s materials are not for loan and may only be used at our Centre.

To complement this library, we offer a dedicated reading space as well as friendly helpful assistance from the on-duty librarian. In addition, Inyathelo hosts a funding prospects database which is available onsite at our Centre, or is alternatively available online for an annual user subscription fee.

Inyathelo is proud to have become South Africa’s first Co-operating Collection of the US-based Foundation Center, an association which provides Inyathelo and all its clients with access to a huge resource of international donor information, and Advancement and fundraising materials, guides and tips.

To use the Inyathelo Resource Centre, visitors are required to register at the Centre, and we encourage you to make a booking, as we can only accommodate limited users at any one time.

The Resource Centre’s operational hours are on Mon-Fri from 09h00 - 16h00.
