Non-Profit Code of Governance
The development of a Non-profit Code of Governance is being coordinated by a civil society elected and mandated Working Group and managed by Inyathelo. The development of the Code includes an extensive consultation process with the civil society sector, the auditing and accountancy professions and the donor community.
The first round of civil society and donor consultations took place in 2011. Thereafter, a draft Non-profit Code of Governance was completed that is currently being prepared to be published in a national “Call for Comment” amongst the civil society sector, donors and auditing and accountancy regional bodies.
