We will fulfil our vision by meeting these objectives:
- Provide an Advancement Training and Resource Centre offering consultancy, professional interaction, training, research and resources dedicated to realise the vision and mission of the SAIA.
- Engage in leadership development programmes with non-profit and institutional leaders to strengthen organisations, particularly in relation to their resource mobilisation and their long-term sustainability.
- Promote social investment, voluntarism and self-help to meet national development priorities.
- Serve as a key resource for people interested in philanthropy and social investment.
- Provide support for organisations that require mentoring in their fundraising and advancement activities.
- Conduct research on issues of advancement, social investment and philanthropy.
Work with institutions and organisations to build their capacity to advance their objectives.
